I am a huge Springfield fan and there are some great songs here but I just can't get super excited about the album. Will I is the best song on the album, Perfect and I will make you Happy are both good songs. The only other song I felt was inspiring was My Depression. For the most part the rest of the album is filler.

I love this! The whole thing, just the way it is from beginning to end! My husband even stole the CD from me because he likes it. I am a long time fan (30 years+) and this is my favorite.

I recently seen Rick Springfield in concert and its one of the best i've been to. His music is what rock is supposed to be energetic and full of life; I highly recommend this album and any of his others to anyone who loves great music and entertainment.

Rock fans, alternative fans, pop fans, listen up: Forget everything you think you know about Rick Springfield and embrace the amazing scope of this album. I was a fan the first time around, and my kids mocked me for loving "outdated oldies." Then they heard this album. My son, 14, compares some tracks to Linkin Park and Finger 11. It's the one CD we all have on our Ipods. At an age when most rock artists are retired and resting on greatest hits CD's, Rick is out there touring, surprising everyone with high energy, AWESOME concerts, and this amazing, wonderful, rocking album.

The older I get (I'm only 32) the more I like the music he is making later in his career. It speaks from the heart, as if from presonal experiences. Give it a listen
  • Rick...? Harder, Edgier and Better than ever...

Having been a fan (at the age of... lets say at roughly the age of 11 back in the 80's), I now am reintroduced to the man at 20+ years later and I absolutely LOVE this album. Now, preferring hard rock to pop and the smooth mellow wane of the blues to hip-hop, but still loving classic rock sound, I was thrilled at the smokey blues in 'Alien Virus' and the rougher sound of his voice in the hard rockin 'Jesus Saves'. I would love to hear more of the hard rock Rick. I have been to a number of his concerts and at each he has either done a blues cover such as Stevie Ray Vaughn or even a classic rock cover song, or playing an instrumental song in a blues style... Excellent stuff! This album opens the door to a new audience and shows the depth of talent from the artist mostly known only for 'Jessie's Girl'. It's refreshing to hear this new sound. I strongly suggest a listen - you won't be disappointed!

There is more to Rick Springfield than Jessie's Girl, and this album proves it. He's like fine wine, just gets better with age. Awesome album absolutely love Will I and I'll Make You Happy. The entire album is totally worth a listen.
