  • THIS GUY IS A TRUE TALENT

IF YOU STUMBLED UPON THIS GUY THROUGH I TUNES YOUR PROBABLY THINKING, (MAN - SOUNDS GOOD, GOT THAT JAMES TAYLOR THING GOING.) FOLKS, BE ADVISED- THIS GUY IS MUCH MORE THAN THAT. THE GARETH ASHER CDS ARE GREAT BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HEAR THIS GUY THROW DOWN, PUNCH IN "ILLBREAK" IN YOUR SEARCH ENGINE AND SAMPLE ANY ONE OF THE SONGS ON THAT CD. GARETH ASHER WAS THE LEAD SINGER/ GUITARIST AND IT IS PURE ROCK. OUTSTANDING VOCALS, INSTRUMENTS AND LYRICS. THIS "I'M THE EARTH CD" IS A GREAT PIECE OF WORK BUT THE ILLBREAK CD IS A MASTERPIECE.

What a combination of heartfelt and soulful tunes. I love the jazzy sound of Bathe Me in Failure and the true melody of Enchanted. Gareth Asher is a man of incredible talent. His albums do not disappoint!

At the CD release party, I walked away knowing this disc would immediately be added to my "stranded on a desert island" list. From the first emotional chords of "My Love" to the glee in "Highest High" it's a record full of passion and love. Gareth's passion for his craft can't be denied, and I look forward to more and more from this young artist.

Gareth Asher crafts lyrics in a story telling fashion reminescent of John Prine and Shawn Mullins. Most impressive is his "lost in the moment" passion for this music. You can almost hear him close his eyes and tap on his guitar as he sings My Love. I have seen him live and this album faithfully reproduces his sound. I am eagerly looking forward to his next album.

Short and sweet...Gareth Asher's voice is phoenomenal. A superb album. I can think of a handful of albums , where I liked most of the songs on the album. I can say that on this album that there may be one song not on my iPod since I purchased it. A smooh relaxing sound. I cannot wait until his first album comes to iTunes later this month (supposed to be that is), and his new album drops later this year. I would pre-order now if I could.

Gareth Asher is an unbelievable talent. This record is truly amazing, from the rockin' songs such as Crave or Call Me Out to the beautiful melodies of such songs as Enchanted and Something That You Do. If you purchase anything by Gareth Asher, you will NOT be disappointed. The entire CD is REMARKABLE and is well worth purchasing. I am proud to be a fan and friend of Gareth Asher, and I believe we will see him go far in life with his music.

I found Gareth through Illbreak, the band he sings for. This CD is actually his second, third if you count illbreak. Gareth is just an amazing singer, and musician, all there is too it. I suggest you check out both this CD and the Illbreak CD. I can't find Gareth's first CD any where..maybe Itunes will pick it up soon?
