He killed it on throwback rap attack. That was one of the best lyrical rap songs i heard, very much like Canibus' poet laureate II (greatest rap song i heard). Flat out crazy. One of the best.
This dudes been in the game for like 20 years

Long overdue album, from a MASTER lyricist! Percee P is one of the all-time greatest MCs to ever walk the Earth. His voice, cadence, and lyrical content are all unique, yet they evoke memories of Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap. Madlib throws him some up-tempo dirt and grit (like only Madlib can), a few true MCs join in, and the masterpiece is complete!
If you front on this, your mother raised you wrong!!!
This is hip-hop!

Percee P spits rhymes like a chaingun unloading bullets. Meanwhile, Madlib provides great beats. The result is an amazing hip-hop album. You'll find no party music here, just dope beats and lyrics. See "Throwback Rap Attack" or "Put It On the Line" as examples where Percee P unleashes his wrath on the mic. It's a shame that rappers of this caliber are becoming extinct.
Great songs, but not a great album

This album is somewhere between a four and a three. On a few of these tracks, Percee P and Madlib make some of the best hip hop I have heard in a long time, but the others fall flat for me--partly, because they have to stand next to the great ones. All you have to do is listen to the "The Hand That Leads You," and you can hear that Percee P and Madlib can serve up the real energy and vitality that lacks in so much hip hop. 'Raw Heat" and "The Dirt and Filth" are also magnificent, but a lot of the other songs feel like they're missing something. It seems like Percee P's incessant flow and lack of breath/space need a driving, shifting beatspace to give him something to work off of, and I don't think it's there for at least half of the album.

This record was long awaited but now that its here I can't get enough. I hear rumors of a remix album coming up soon. I love this record..classic Hip Hop. The Legendary Lethal Lyricist Percee P represents those cats that are out there that have been putting in work and is getting what due is 1st album with another MADLIB INVASION. Check tracks "Man to Praise", "2 Brotha's..", "Ghetto Rhyme Storys", "Put It On the Line", the whole album is banging in true Hip Hop fashion.
Bless you Percee...
If you see him at a show or in front of fat beats and he's selling his cd "BUY IT" even if you already have it.

Percee p is a monster. Even though he's been around for years, his flow is fresh. It's about time this guy dropped.
If you are a fan of of wack lyrics and weak flows
