This is good if you want an idea of the evolution of sound that led to the highly successful dynamic they employed, but this is very unpolished and is basically a compilation of unrealesed or impossible to find stuff... not some weird sounding album that came out between "meantime" and "betty"

This is not a great album, but it is a good one. The songs are raw, noisy, and unproduced. That is where the power comes from. If you're just getting into Helmet pretty much any of their CDs would be a better starting point than this one, but if you're a fan this deal is too cheap to pass up.

NOT THE BEST HELMET ALBUM EVER. THE SONGS KINDA SOUND THE SAME. HOWEVER IT IS STILL GOOD ROCK.SO YOU CAN DECIDE TO BUY IT OR NOT.
