What everyone needs to know is that this is the original recording. You can't look at any other soundtrack (even the movie) without regarding this one. If the original musical did not get famous we wouldn't have the movie in the first place. I personally love the staged version at many times in place of the movie thatI wish they kept in the movie but did not. Oh, and the cast was very drunk during this recording. That is how amazing this soundtrack is.
i'm amazed

OMTV (oh my transvestite--it's catching on haha) i had 2 go and search 4 these songs and record it through my computer and everything and now it's on itunes!!! well atleast i got them for free rather than spending $10...but i actually like this soundtrack a lot, of course not more than the movie version, but i like to hear the different interpretation of the music...i like tim curry's voice in this, it's different, but i still like it!

One of the greatest musicals to ever grace a stage and silver screen, but, my problem is, we almost every incarnation of The Rocky Horror Show represented on iTunes (The Original London Version, The Movie Soundtrack, The London Revival Cast, etc.), where's the Roxy cast recording, with Meat Loaf as Eddie\Dr. Scott, I really want the Roxy cast

Other than the film cast, this is the best cast. I mean it's almost the exact same cast you have:
Frank - Tim Curry
Riff Raff - Richard O'Brien
Magenta - Patricia Quinn
Columbia - Little Nell
Narrator - Jonathan Adams (plays Dr. Scott in the movie)
It's interesting to hear different people to some of the parts but it still can't beat the movie.
I saw the Rocky Horror Show live a couple years back and although it's different at times, I enjoyed it almost as much as the film (though the cast was all different).

The songs in the movie are a ton better. In Time warp Rif Raf was horrible, but in the movie he rocked!
