Just Because You Get It Right

Just because Ortiz might know what hip hop is all about, doesn't mean he's any good at it. I'm tired of people using rap and hip hop to hate on people and dick around.
Some of these comments are embarassing...

As a fan of hip-hop, along with other genres of music, I give this song three stars because it is an exercise in punchlines, wit and wordplay, but lacks other substance. The beat knocks but it does get minorly repetitive. Now...here goes...regardless of whether you like rap or not...all those people who gave it one star and made comments regarding crack, guns, etc...enough already. You're just making yourself look bad. If you don't like it, don't comment and keep it moving. It is free after all. BUt making generalizing statements lowers the intelligence average of the US. Kthxbye.

To start out with, I never even HEARD of Joell Ortiz until this single (so I have no "axe to grind"). I don't see how this is any more 'repetetive' or 'boring' than any of the other rap that is out there. At least he isn't rapping about hoes and crack. You have to actually listen to the words to get any meaning. If you want only fun, smiley, feelgood music go to Disneyland. Rap is about adversity; not always the happiest subject. So if you can't handle it, perhaps you shouldn't listen to it. It isn't even like you people had to BUY it, fer pete's sake.
congrats a fat guy singing about how great crack is

The majority of you people that trashed Joell Ortiz are either biased against rap or free singles iTunes gives us. Well, free singles don't come better (even though this is no longer free) so stop hatin!
