A very in depth and personal release from DJ Muffler. Both the songs on this EP really indulge in deep emotion and spacious atmospheres.
"Mermaids" has an intense drum line throughout its 6 minutes. Muffler adds many great concepts to keep your attension, adding things like flamenco guitar and a vocal sample resembling something of The Prodigy to follow.
"Waves Breaking" is more of an ambient song, but this certainly does not compromise its integrity. The lead sample used draws in the listener from very beginning, and that which follows does not disappoint. I bought this EP a while back and still listen to both songs to this day. Buy both songs and support an underground artist that is generally underrated. You won't regret it.
