This is probably the best Figaro since Böhm's famous recording! I love the authentic instruments, the singing, everything is amazing.

I'm not a fan of "authentic performances," but I'm giving this recording five stars because it's worthy of five stars. The sound quality is perfect, the singers are heavenly and the performance is flawless, bursting with energy and beautiful. No wonder it won a Grammy.

not sure why this hasn't been reviewed yet. So far it's wonderful, particularly cherubino, count and figaro. but the real star of course is mozart. the fourth act finale! is there anything more gorgeous?
