SOME OF YOU PEOPLE ARE CONFUSING THIS GROUP WITH OTHER ARTISTS. THE GRAN COMBO DID NOT DO "LA BODA DE ELLA" THAT WAS CANO ESTREMERA & BOBBY VALENTIN. THIS IS AN OKAY ALBUM BY EL GRAN COMBO BUT THEY HAVE MANY OTHERS THAT ARE FAR BETTER SUCH AS:

"BREAKING THE ICE: EL GRAN COMBO EN ALASKA" 1984
"NUESTRO ANIVERSARIO" 1982
"INNOVATIONS" 1985
"HAPPY DAYS" 1981
"LA UNIVERSIDAD DE LA SALSA" 1983
JUST TO NAME A FEW OF THE MANY.
"iTunes!" needs to get better consultants for this musical genre, perhaps if they got some REAL LATINOS they'd have a better selection. ALL OF THOSE WHO COMPLAINED MAY HAVE TO GET THE GRAN COMBO ALBUMS AT A CD MUSIC STORE UNTIL "iTunes!" GETS ON THE BALL AND IMPROVES THIS SECTION.

We are a loyal fan base and SPEND MONEY to see our favorite performers. El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Sonora Poncena, Willie Rosario, Pacheco, Colon,Cheo,Harlow, Barretto, Miranda, El Cantante, Santa Rosa, Victor Manuelle...etc etc ..are artist recognize through out the latin community, many recognized by one name. Ok iTunes, you need to consult with REAL LATINOS who know their salsa music. These songs are great but El Gran Combo has far BETTER songs than these!!! Get with the program itunes. You need to compile a couple of the best songs into one CD. Thanks y que siga la Rummba mijo, porque esto va pa' las 6 de la maniana.!!!

itunes ain't out to deny anyone la musica. It's all about record labels and coyrights. Apple would put every song ever made up for sale if they could, it just that the 'owner' of the song has to give them permission. Obviously, whoever owns the rights to earlier Gran Combo albums doesn't want them sold on itunes - for whatever reason. Notice there aren't any Beatles tracks for sale? It's because Apple Records (the Beatles' label) will not sell the rights of any of their songs to Apple computer. Funny, eh?

Where is this song? This song is played thoughout Puerto Rico during the christmas season. Leaving this song out is like leaving out sofrito out of the pollo gisau.

Not having a complete library of the group known internationally as El Gran Combo is truly a travesty it's like leaving Jay-Z out of your Hip Hop category or only having one or 2 of his hits. You guys need to work on strengthening your latin music library as our buying power is significant and you are short changing your selves.

Lamentablemente Itunes latino es dirigido ( sin deseo de menospreciar a nadie ) por "especialistas" de mexico,pais que bien sabemos es muy poco inclinado a este ritmo musical.
Un hecho especial es el de la orquesta "Los adolescentes" de venezuela,una de las mejores orquesta de la salsa en la actualidad estuve yo buscando su nuevo CD "Buscame" y me encontre con la sorpresa de que los titulos de los temas fueron usurpados por unos grupitos de pasito duranguense y de la sierra de mexico.
Como venezolano me senti mal,pues la orquesta adolescentes es sin duda una de las mejores orquestas del genero salsero y por el hecho que aqui en USA es dificil obtener sus ultimos trabajos musicales me decidi a buscarlos aqui en I tunes. Que mala nota.
Ahora,el gran combo es otra cosa,una trayectoria como la de los muchachos del gran combo merece mas que lo ofrecido aqui
