  • Great motivation music, including for exercises!

First, rent the movie. Second, buy the movie. Third, read the book the movie is based on (so you can hear Nic Nolte as Socrates in your head as you read the lines). Finally, purchase this album! I train using Circular Strength Training (created by Coach Scott Sonnon) and I use a lot of the songs on this album in my iPod. I did the rings in high school, so now, 24 years later, I bought a set of professionally made Olympic rings from Torque Athletic and have carefully been working on getting some of the moves back. Not quite like the character in the film, but it is something to be proud of nonetheless! Tracks to enjoy: "Training Montage", "End Title Suite", and "The Finals". If you are going to be cheap, get at least these three. But for $9.99, get the whole album! Great deal! You will enjoy most the the songs right away. Some of them will grow on you. Make you own iPod playlist and hit the gym or train outside (like I do usually) and pretend you are in a movie. PS: Dan Millman (author of Peacefull Warrior) put out a new book to answer questions people had from the book the movie is based on. Can we get a Peacefull Warrior sequel some day? I hope so! Enjoy the album everyone! :)

This album is absolutely incredible! It gives the listener what my music teacher calls 'musical chills' when one hears the triumphant and moving melodies of the score. One of the best scores I've ever heard for truly heroic music - a must-have! Definitely a must-buy!
  • Relive the magic of the movie!

This soundtrack is well worth the $9.99 pricetag. I loved the movie and now I can relive those moving moments by listening to the themes on my iPod. I will even use some of the cuts in my Spin classes to inspire my students.

When I saw the movie there was no mistake that the score made up the emotional and uplifting part of the movie. Very calming and inspirational at the same time. The composer did an amazing job! The whole album is great! Well worth the $9.99. The main theme is just so inspirational. Great music to listen to on your mp3 player while you are working out. It has gotten me through many sets in the gym :) Which should give you a good idea of how inspirational and powerful it is.
  • I agree with that first review!

This is an AWESOME soundtrack! Really powerful, moving, expansive-sounding cues. I also agree with that first reviewer's tastes... I found Marcelo Zarvos from a friend's recommendation, and iTunes then linked me to Kerry Muzzey's music, which I absolutely LOVE. Nice job, iTunes, for showing the world some new and different music!
