It has alwys been so amazing every performances you provide. It is to bad that your concerts are not available in Itunes with videos which would be a great success to all the people who loves you so much... It would be great experience to remember and live with you all those great moments.....

I too saw her in Ft Lauderdale. I really never expected her to tour again so I was thrilled to get to go...I grew up listening to her as my mom is a big fan. She was in wonderful voice, however, I really could have done without Il Divo...all that money wasn't shelled out to see them. As for her political banter: Everyone knows where Bab's stands on the issues and to go to one of her concerts and not expect this one is really deluding themselves. Someone even shouted out from the rafters "SHUT UP AND SING!" I thought that amazingly rude...they should have stayed home and listened to a few CD's instead. Yes, her voice is aging but like fine wine. This album just adds to the career on one of the words greatest chanteuses.

Is this the same concert that recently aired last week. It was a repeat. Concerts r usually one to two hrs long. Between dialog and commercials what did we get 7 songs. Nice concerts but a waste of time.

She is not longer the Songbrid she used to be back in the 60's or 70's and yet, she is likely the best of her generation even in her mid/late 60's...just sample "when the sun somes comes out: Unsual way" and "don't rain on my parade" and you'll see how this magnificent performer can still bring the house down singing live! - Alfredo
  • Il Divo? They were there...

Did she not sing some of these songs with Il Divo? But did she give them credit? No... I went one of her concerts (mainly for Il Divo). So just to let you know, she sings with Il Divo in some of these songs. She could at least-no, she should- give credit to Il Divo. I know that when she did this tour, many of the people who attented went for Il Divo, not her.
  • Let's be honest shall we.....

The truth of the matter is that at nearly 65 years of age during the time of this concert, Barbra just can't sing the way she once could. Still, even well past her prime, she is better than most singers half her age or younger. Compare these recordings to her original studio efforts and the difference in vocal quality becomes most obvious. Age has begun to take it's inevitable toll as it does in everyone. Those who feel differently are simply blind, or should I say deaf, to the unavoidable truth.
  • This is known as the "SHUT UP AND SING" concert

and proof that the world is getting warmer but celebs are going the other way. They cut out the bash on Bush and no one needs to hear that woe is us stuff in between songs each time they play the tunes. Thanks a pile.

I saw the concert in Chicago (on election night!) and in Ft. Lauderdale. Mesmerizing...both times. This CD crystallizes the evenings and the memories I have. The wonders of MP3 have allowed me to download almost all of her collection from the first album I purchased as a 12 year old in 1962 up through this concert album. When I tune the iPod to Barbra, plug in the earphones and lay back, I am taken to so many places, so many memories, relationships and events in my life. As one of her CD titles so aptley states: TIMELESS!
  • Always amazing!
