This is a wonderful compilation of Wojcik’s orchestral works. His tonal landscapes run the gamut from the playful and spirited to the dark and ethereal. His works demonstrate skillful use of chromaticism and rhythmic interplay juxtaposed with haunting melodic contours.

All of these pieces are colorful and vibrant. The orchestration is wonderful, with especially good woodwind writing. Wojcik's music is modern, but accessable and has a distinct mark that is his. House Party alone is worth the price of the entire album.

I think Wojcik wrote some beautiful music, is a fine orchestrator, and it was a blessing for me to hear it. As for the other review, which I consider "hateful" according to the tips list, i don't feel sorry for the composer so much, but for the person who wrote it. A person should never be confused with what he created, be the music considered good or bad (i.e. calling him a "washed up bum".) Whew! Even if it's revenge, it shouldn't happen. Do unto others...
