This is such a beautiful score composed by the late and great Curtis Mayfield. I have the record, and I'm willing to splurge to buy it on Itunes. I want full accessibility to this masterpiece!!

A Treasure of a Soundtrack❤️🖤💚. A must listen to: both renditions of “To Be Invisible” by Gladys Knights & Pips AND by Composer Curtis Mayfield. Rest In Peace Mr. Curtis Mayfield and Ms. Dushanbe Carroll, two of our Greats❣️

This is the only thing about iTunes that I hate...release dates are always so off! I guess you put most recent release year, instead of the year it was actually, originally, released? At first I thought maybe the soundtrack, and the corresponding movie, was done like how they made the Jackson 5 movie with actors, years and years later. But then I read a review here where someone said they used to listen to the soundtrack on eight track. So what year was it originally released?

I love love love this soundtrack. Happy to see it here on iTunes, I have the CD along with the DVD of the movie. I would so much appreciate if iTunes to some day really soon can add the movie, so I can download it to my iPad, so that I can watch any time.
Please and Thank you❤️
Bobby Bee on The Claudine Score...

This one - more than any of his other soundtracks (Sparkle, SuperFly,, etc.), I think epitomizes Curtis' essence, since most of the songs are songs that he himself recorded. It also says a lot of what he thought of Gladys and The Pips, to trust them in their care...R.I.P., Gentle Genius!

My mother took me to see this movie on 42nd St. bet. 7/8th avenues in NYC back in 1973/4. When the movie ended, next door to the theater was a record store; she went in and purchased the record. Thanks mom and dad for all the good memories I appreciate so much today.
