Horrible sound. Don't waste your time and money on this, I should have read the first review or at least listened more carefully to the songs, otherwise I would still have $10 to spend on a better quality collection!

If you're looking for a good version of Madame Butterfly to get to know the piece, or just listen to, this isn't it. The title says 1948 Hollywood Bowl performance, and it sounds every bit of it. The audio is very tinny, and sounds like it was recorded from some distance away. I couldn't recommend this unless you're after a bit of history.
