Kate Rusby is a refreshing and talented artist! I will keep listening! I hope you do too!

Kate Rusby is the standard bearer of new British Isles singing, adding gracefully to the catalog with simple, elegant arrangements and a pure sensibility. The recording quality is top notch. She is reminiscent of the late, great Sandy Denny. The up tempo 6/8 cuts are especially stirring, "I Courted a Sailor" is a fine example. My highest recommendation, and I hope she will return to the States soon. David Rizzuti

I honestly can't understand why anyone would "get rid of " a Kate Rusby cd. Take a listen and I'll bet this is one disc you'll keep a long ,long time .

I just got this CD from a friend who was getting rid of it. I really like it and have it on my ipod. I've been listening to it over and over again. It's a relaxing album that helps me wind down. Enjoy!
