This, aside from Hello Hurricane and Legend of Chin, is my favorite album of theirs. Funny, my very favorite Switchfoot songs--or of all time, for that matter--come from Vice Verses and Beautiful Letdown. But as a whole, this album beats the rest. LOVE it beyond comparison. For those who are just getting their feet wet in the Switchfoot fandom, go for Faust, Midas, and Myself; Head Over Heels; Yesterdays; Awakening; and 4:12. For all you other die-hards out there, I'm sure you know, buy the whole album.

I have always loved them, and i do like theyre newer album, but this one is the best out of them all. they have never made a song better than Awakening. Ever

5 years later, and I'm still finding myself listening to this album. While some of the songs haven't aged as well as I thought they would (I'm looking at you, Head Over Heels), I think this album is Switchfoot's best. Admittedly, I haven't listened to Vice Verses as of yet, but hey - it'd have to be pretty dang good to change my mind.
However, I have to ask - iTunes and/or Apple, in what UNIVERSE is Switchfoot a "Christian-emo" band? Really?!
