Primitive Love

This album captures my early childhood so well. It is very reminiscent on, "The Words Get In The Way", and "Bad Boy". It has what I think of as a light pink feeling from the mid to late 80's. Just a really great album from very great musicians. It reminds me of my Mom tending to me early on at our first duplex house.

An absolute classic of its kind and time, Primitive Love is absolutely flawless from beginning to end. Easily MSM's zenith, it is such absolute perfection that it singlehandedly created the "Miami sound" style for the state, putting it on the musical map and led the way for acts like Expose and Secret Ties (the latter whose album has been missing in action for decades despite their great hit "Dancing in My Sleep". The only reason why I do not give it a full five star rating is because of a problem at this album now has these days which needs to be seriously addressed. A big one. This album seriously needs remastering. Play at alongside any other modern release or even Gloria Estefan's essential greatest hits package and the sound quality these days sounds remarkably poor and faint. So... how about kerping the fiesta going by remastering it in a special edition which would also include the remastered single version of "Bad Boy"? How about it, Columbia? Please? (Continuing to keep my fingers crossed)

Gloria Estefan has one of the greatest sounding voices ever! She has true talent!!
