This album was back at a time before home recording of albums could actually produce a product that sounded professionally recorded, but nontheless... SuperStar is a fantastic album. Tracks 1, 2 ,9, and the chorus of 17 break that low fi musical wall and give us songs that are really worth listening to. The well produced an excellent EP with the song Rosary came soon after but I don't see that one on itunes. Simple Simon was a 3 piece live band that truly ruled. Excellent guitar riffs, amazing drumming and bass player Tony's voice live was something to be witnessed. They merged with another band and became Blackmaker. Blackmaker is also on itunes but I must admit, the lead singer's vocals in Blackmaker - this time recorded much with better equipment - don't compare to the voice of Tony in Simple Simon. If this is the last of Simple Simon ... please grab it while it's here...
