Ol' Bernie couldn't be bothered to include what even Abraham Lincoln described as being the finest song ever written? Bah, humbug.
Great performance, but far too fast

Unfortunately, Leonard Bernstein is aconductor/composer that loves to move things far too fast than what they should be. Many of the songs on this album are rushed, almost to the point of being double-time marches instead of the traditional march tempo. Great performance on the part of the orchestra, but Bernstein would have better served the music by maintaining the standard tempos.

I love this song. This is my auditon piece on 1st Violin for Bakersfield's Kern County Honor Orchestra.
I play violin, piano, viola, cello, and ukulele. I'm planning to play Bells & Drums. (Glockenspiel, Timpani, Drum Kit.) Someday I'll be famous.
