I remember this album from the 1980s when Hellion was on MTV. This was a band that was ahead of their time in many ways. The band played a kind of traditional metal that has influences such as Rainbow, Judas Priest, Dio (Ronnie James Dio once produced the band), and the like. The guitarist, Chet Thompson, plays in a style similar to Randy Rhodes or Eddie Van Halen. This is a nice contrast with the vocals of Ann Boleyn, who sounds like a female version of a cross between Bon Scott and Dio. My favorite songs on this album are the ones that remind me of Dio or Black Sabbath --- mainly Tower of Air, Screams In The Night, and The Hand. However, the songs that everybody knows best are Bad Attitude, which was on MTV, and Better Off Dead. I am giving this CD five stars because there simply is no band that compares in class or originality when it comes to the vocal style of Ann Boleyn and the guitar work of Chet Thompson.
