  • Mick, what about some new songs?!

Simply Red brings another edition of live music to further milk millions with mediocrity. I dig some Simply Red, but this brother's just playing the choir on this one. More NEW music, Simply Red, please?!

Mick Hucknell and Simply Red are never better than when enjoyed live. With the exception of "All Down the Live" the experience of Simply Red and Mick Hucknell's incredible soulful voice is never better. If you've seen them live in concert, listening to these tracks will instantly transport you back to the first time you saw Mick and the gang and danced in your seat from the first song in their performance to the last. My only real regret is that more live tracks weren't included in this release.

One of the most underrated bands out there...this kicks tail.

Mick has nothing new to say here, besides 'All Down the Line' which is vast departure from Simply Red's style; this is another live set.

Awesome, amazing, rich and wonderful! I love it when Simply Red releases live cuts of their music, and even better that they included a new song on this release! Brilliant. Mick's voice, and the entire band, sound better than ever. (And that's saying a lot, as they've always sounded terrific—a phenomenally talented bunch, all.) I hope that some of these renditions make it to the radio—they're fresh takes on classic songs. The perfect day-after-Christmas gift for all of us anxiously awaiting their next album, due out in early '07.
