Ok, we all know the VMF is pathetic, right? Well some songs on this CD album is good anyways.
First we have post-Supremes numbers by Jean Terrell and Mary Wilson, and that's what makes this CD so great.
Lastly, we have over-the-top (as in "BAD") vocals by faux-Supreme-wannabe Lynda Laurence. Ick, say no more.
And in-between firstly and lastly, we have songs here by Scherrie Payne (no denying she has talent, but why does she always resort to those vocal acrobatics and ear-splitting high notes?) for those of you who love her.
There's also some stuff here by Susaye Greene, another vocal gymnast who feels she always has to hit those helium-powered ear-splitting high notes that no one ever needs to hear. I mean come on, does anyone plan on using this music as a dog whistle?
If you're one of those few who number yourselves among the VMF, this stuff is HOLY GRAIL material. For the rest of the world, you can skip this, caus except for the few Jean Terrell and Mary Wilson tracks, it ain't very good.
Shout out to CARLO, hiya queeny girl! And another shout out to the BUBCA, how hairy are you anyways?
