  • A Nice Mix

If you have all of Oomph's albums in the first place there isn't too much here to look at, but if you only have what's available on iTunes I'd say this is a great cd. The song "The Power Of Love" isn't included on any past cds to my knowledge, so it's definitely a gem to pick up if nothing else. For any new fans of Oomph I'd say this is a great way to test the waters of the band. Personally I'd really like to see some of the older Oomph albums on iTunes. We need: Oomph!, Unrein, Defekt, and Sperm. Oomph is a really under credited band in my book. They've made an interesting mark in Industrial music.

I actually found out about this band by a friend who (also) enjoys listening to Rammstein. I'm, honestly, not the type of person to immediatly go look things up if you reccomend me to... but for what ever reason, I did when he told me to check "this totally awesome band, Oomph!, out." I'm so glad I did. My favorite song off of the album is "Träumst Du", followed by "Labyrinth". (I actually prefer the version of TD with Marta Jandova, but hey... the Oomph-only one is good too.) TD has such... great lyrics. It's a crazy catchy song that'll end up sticking in my head for days. The band is upbeat, catchy, and all-around great. I give this two thumbs (and if I had more, I'd put those up too) up. Ich liebe Oomph! und, danke so viel, iTunes! Erste mal Du hast mich sehr froh machen.

Love the music, love that it really is a great 'best of'. But this is supposed to be a 2 DISC set, where are the rest of the songs? only 22 when it should be 38 songs. I don't mind the 'lower price' but at LEAST disclose it's not the full set!!

This album has a great blend of OOMPH! goodness. It has alot of their smash hits and many hard to find tracks. Great for starters or for Hardcore fans.
  • Oomph's best compilation album.

Whether you're getting into Oomph for the first time or you're looking to finish off your collection, this album is probably for you. It has some of their best songs (Gott ist ein popstar, Weisst du wieviel sterne stehen, and Augen auf) and their rarest songs (Zauberstab, Brennende liebe, and eiszeit). Overall it's quite a collection.

Great "sampler" album. If you've never heard Oomph!, start with this album. It has the good stuff.
