Touched My Life

I credit this album, along with some Michael W. Smith, for keeping me alive during suicidal times. From beginning to end, the music is packed with power. I met Ross and bought this CD when I was beginning middle school in 1998, and even 10 years later, it continues to touch my life. Whenever I am depressed, heartbroken, or feeling alone, tracks like "Better Times Await" and "Rest of My Life" are there to pick me up. Even an athiest friend of mine finds these songs moving, and is growing closer to God as a result. King's newer praise music is great, but this CD will always hold a special place in my heart - it's a shame it's out of print, so thank God for iTunes. Two of the best tracks are missing on the iTunes version - Invitation (a good summary of the Gospel's message) and If the Devil Were a Man (comedic) - but the rest is still worth it for its message of hope, inspiration, love, and above all, Gospel truth. Some of the tracks may take some time to grow on you, but in the end, you will find all of them amazing. Ross has truly been given a gift, and I am so thankful he is turning it back to God.
