The Christmas Collection

Excellente

This album is not bad. If you like the samples, go ahead and get it; you'll probably enjoy it. However, as tenors and Christmas music go, I don't think this album is necessarily the best out there. I really prefer The Priests (who have a lovely Christmas album) and Juan Diego Florez (who has a few Christmas songs on his latest album).

This is fabulous, but I do wonder about Over the Rainbow as a Christmas song. The tenors voices are always strong and clear. I got chills up and down my spine, especially for O Holy Night.

Of course they are beautiful. Just the collection you need for Christmas. I especially loved Rejoice. The traditional Christmas Carols are so "giant." They are more than you expect.

This album is fantastic! you have to buy it! they are so remarkable and they just lift your spirits when you hear them! oh my goodness

One of my favorite CDs this winter has been Il Divo's The Christmas Collection. I really like The Christmas Collection because it's a mix of very traditional Christmas music like O Come All Ye Faithful and less traditional but similarly sounding songs like Over the Rainbow. The whole CD really is beautiful. I was unfamiliar with Il Divo before I receiving this CD, and I have been pleasantly surprised. I mean, they're no Elmo and Patsy, so you probably won't be singing along. Especially with the parts that aren't in English. Nonetheless, the music is glorious, and the CDs are lovely to listen to. The Christmas Collection is magnificent. Backed by rich orchestra music, the four men of Il Divo have rich and powerful voices that are a pleasant treat, especially after listening to wining teenagers all day.

Where has Il Divo been hiding all my life. They are great!
