An all time great soundtrack...but why omit the opening? (Its the best part!)

Aside from this film being one of, if not, Peter and Katherine's best, the score by John Barry is superb and brilliantly conveys the feelings and emotions between King Henry and his Queen. The rich textures and moods set the tone of drama and light-hearted comedy in, based on my own personal opinion, one of the greatest films of all time! Do not miss out on a truly wonderful soundtrack!

Having worked in art department on this film it has always been a wonderful rich reminder of the days spent with Katherine Hepburn and Peter Otoole. It has to go down as one of the classics. The music score from the opening takes one back immediately to the period.
