as a child watching my parents play their albums and watchig the effect these songs had on them or listening to my dad strum his guitar and sing to my mom. as an adult listening to these takes me right back to that time and place but now understanding the passion for these songs as well as in these songs of love, devotion, heartache, and a pain that trancends through his undeniably beautiful voice accompanied by strings and horns. absolutely beautiful. i have an 11yr old who never got a chance to meet my parents but through these songs i am able to introduce her to their memory. un grito para mis padres!
