Use to fall asleep to this in my college years. Listening to Hearts of Space national syndicated radio program out of San Francisco, Ca. brought these deep meditative sounds into my life. I know almost every vibration on every track. Been meditating to it for decades. This is one my of my all time fav new age space music albums.

camping out next to a crackling fire, mountain bikes layed down, over in the shadows. a couple of acoustic guitars and a pot of tea, we'd all watch moonlit clouds fly over the canyon tops, a thousand feet overhead. then, to top it off, we'd take turns reading Abbey's book of the same name - by firelight of course. i should mention my car battery did go dead one night, as we played this tape, over and over.

I listen to this compilation often. It is soothing and allows me to relax and wind down after a hard day at work. I also listen to this when I hike in the mountains near my home. It creates a wonderful ambience, and evokes a flood of memories of solitary time spent in the desert, and/or the mountains.
