I had the pleasure of hearing Arturo in person when he played a gig with Dizzy many years ago. Came away saying "Who is that Guy", amazing talent.
This is absolutely the best horn album I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Arturo's talent seems humanly impossible, but my ears do not lie. Enjoyable is a total understatement, just amazing!!!! Buy this album, you will be saying WOW! in no time.

Probably only trumpeters will truly appreciate how amazing this album is. Arturo manges to perform nearly perfect imitation of King Oliver, Louis Armstrong, Roy Eldridge ( this one is DEAD ON), Clark Terry, Cootie Williams, Dizzy Gillespie, Fat Navarro, Clifford Brown, Freddie Hubbard, Bunny Berrigan, Milles Davis and others. Stunning!!

This is an awesome album. His cover of Dizzy's "Manteca" is perfect. The song "Maynard Ferguson" is just incredible. Overall a great album.
