Blue on blue fits

Not Kenny's height by any stretch ; songwriting seemed forced to fit an era ; though the production is slick it comes off over produced . There ARE some good pop songs ; undeniably "Meet Me Halfway" is a beautiful number ...Blue on blue has a good hook too. But even the tried true songwriter combo with McDonald falls flat. Just not a "classic" Loggins album. He comes back with a vengeance though with Leap of Faith thank God

As a child of the 80’s, Kenny Loggins was everywhere. His 70’s output was still playing on the radio as well, so I was able to absorb most, if not all, his entire spectrum of radio hits. “Meet Me Half Way” is my favorite Kenny Loggins song, barely beating out his duet with Stevie Nicks from the 1970’s.

Ilove this song it was on the soap opera Santa Barbara as one of the love themes for Mason and Julia. It was played when Mason woke from his coma and when Mason and Julia went on a romantic getaway after he came home from the hospital.A perfect love song.Thank you for having this song. A Santa Barbara fan.

This is when 80s music turned from being cool and original to overinflated, overproduced cookie-cutter trash. Every song sounds the same and they all sound like they're from soundtracks to terrible films. It was the beginning of the end for Kenny Loggins and it was a shane that it came crashing down so quickly.
Over The Top

Track 11 = arm wrestling success. I still get choked up each time Lincoln Hawk tells Michael that "the world meets nobody half way". By God, Sly is right and Kenny Loggins gave that wisdom wings. Like a switch baby. Like a switch.
A Timeless Album

Back to Avalon is truly an amazing collection. Kenny's style and voice transcend through the decades and create a very enjoyable listening experience. The songs definitely have an 80's vibe, but not enough for this album to be taken off the shelves today. All the songs from the original album are here and they really all are great! Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a pop/rock/adult contemporary vibe.

I do not know why you would need to release only a partial album. I love Blue on Blue and its not here. Do't just pick the most popular, it degrades the music............
