I love the film and the music. I miss the original soundtrack dialogue from the original album.

This sounds absolutely beautiful, but I wish they would have kept in the dialogue before each song, as was on the original soundtrack. I miss Zorba saying "...am I not a man. And is not a man stupid! So I married. Wife. Children. House. Everything. The full catastrophe!" -Lu

I was delighted to find the soundtrack for "Zorba the Greek" on iTunes! I have the original vinyl LP, but it is quite worn from years and years of listening. This movie was one of the few that actually was better than the book, and one of the main reasons for that is because of the amazing music by Mikos Theodorakis. Also, the pithy quotes that accompany the music are ones that anyone can enjoy, even if you haven't seen the movie. Try it! It will make you want to embrace your life a little more bodly and dance into the sunset!
