I thought the album was really great, but I have the same problem as most: it's not Kate Winslet ( or whoever sang for her in the movie ) singing. And also, I have this piano book that has the music from Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice ( Colin Firth ). But in the Sense and Sensibility section, there are 9 pieces that are in the album that they did not include.
  • Enchanting!

No words can express how truly delightful this album is & how it takes you back into the movie when you listen to it. Yes I agree with the other reviewers that we would of loved to have had Kate Winslet singing but unfortunately that version is not available. To bad~tsk tsk

i felt the way most do. we want the original movie music. Piano versions and Kate Winslet singing. It was disappointing to not hear any versions that sound exactly like the movie versions.

Brilliant soundtrack and very lovely. But how I wished Kate Winslet's singing in the film made into the album, it was breathtaking. I would've bought it.

This was a fantastic romance, perfectly done and surprisingly very close to the book by Jane Austin. I have no complaints what so ever about this movie and I will warn all those "chick flick" fearers out there to not watch this movie with their romantic craving family members! You might just like it!
  • I love this movie!!!

not only is this movie one of my favorites, so is the soundtrack. Every song is so beautiful! I was a bit dissapointed that you couldn't buy Kate Winslet singing "Weep you no more sad fountains" or " the dreame" but the Jane Eaglen versions are goregous too. I also love devonshire and All the better for her,and "my father's favourite". If you don't like the soundtrack though ( impossible!) you should at least see the movie.

i loved the movie. i loved the music while i watched the movie. now i listen to the little blips provided by itunes (which isn't long enough) and i'm afraid to spend my money on the soundtrack because each song sounds too much like the one before. this is very disappointing.

I am infatuated with period pieces and the soundtrack to this film is absolutely stunning and extransing... It takes you into the story and world of the Dashwood sisters through the emotional tones that build the trials, courage, and heartbreak that each girl faces throughout the film. The music truly is enchanting!
