... plain and simple. "Polaroids" is astounding. "Round of Blues" is a stand-out. Ms. Colvin has created a masterpiece of an album which is coherent and extremely listenable. She never patronizes her audience and brings forth music that is uncomplicated yet profound. Highly recommended

I love this CD. My favorite Shawn Colvin CD. I recommend buying the whole CD, not just one or two songs.All of the songs are great. Tenderness On The Block features the Subdudes in the background. Tennessee is upbeat with some country sounds as is Round of Blues.

When I first saw her on a little stage in Westchester NY, she had just finished her first album. I simply melted in her music. She is even more talented in concert, but see her on a small stage if possible! If you love this I highly recommend Ellis Paul! They should get togther and do a duet!

Shawn Colvin is WONDERFUL!! We saw her in concert twice and she is VERY talented. This is my all-time favorite CD of hers. I Don't Know Why is truly amazing!
