  • The Hidden Track is where it's at

If you had this originally on vinyl or cassette, that first listen when you thought the album was over and then this monster deep house track comes on. Now listed as Shade in Discogs, it's a shame this track never got the credit it deserved with a full release. It's a floor filling banger that shows what Clivilles & Cole where capable of in their prime. If nothing else, buy the album for the hidden track alone.

Unfortunate that credit is not given where credit is due. Go Martha Wash.

This album is awesome! So many catchy, hit songs, one after the other. Other than track 10, which is mediocre, the rest range from very good to great (even the "hidden" track is good). This album is in my opinion the best overall dance album to have come out from the best dance music group, C+C Music Factory! It embodied the dance music generation of the early 1990s. I never get tired of listening to this! It takes me back to my high school days. RIP David Cole; you are sorely missed!

I'm shocked Apple does not put Martha Wash in the featured list of vocalists. At least they mention her in the Album review. In "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" that is Martha Wash, not Zelma Davis (who is also a great vocalist). Love the song, dislike the disrespect, and praise Martha when you hear that operatic voice.

I wanted to mess up the perfect rating, too. :) Seriously, this is a good CD, even after 10+ years. Some of the songs are just fillers, but overall, it's still an excellent album.
