We are all sad about Carter and we will miss him. This is fantastic work and these guys are all very talented and should be on the G*****M radio. This better than anything coming out of Dallas and the future is still bright for SORTA. Great CD everyone should have it. 85 feet is a tremendous song and one of my all-time favorites. Baby Arm
Carter to be rembered for along time!

i never met carter but i have danny and i heard nothing but great things about him... it is sad that such a great person had all those bad things happen to him at the end of his life. i hope that dosent cloud the great man that he really was.

One of the most colorful and versatile bands I've listened to in the last 20 years. They are great and 85 Feet is by far the best sound and song I've heard in a long time. Carter will be missed that goes without saying, but Danny Balis and the rest of Sorta should be recognized as excellent musicians. I hope that Carter and Sorta's music will long play on and be remembered as one of the most unique and creative sounds that has been heard in decades.
GET THEM ALL! ! You won't be able to stop listening

This band is absolutely amazing. Not one bad note, no false moves, no histrionics. Just sample all the songs - - trust me you will listen to their music without having to jump around to different songs.

I'm saddened to say we moved out of Dallas before getting to see these guys play. But, I did see Carter play at a number of other performances in Deep Ellum, most notably at Club Dada. He was extremely friendly and approachable, and man- he could play those keys.
My wife and I live in Indiana now, and we've heard the news all the way up here. I bought this album instead of sending flowers. I suppose it's my way of helping in the smallest way possible. We'll always remember you Carter.
May God bless those closest to you.
miss you Carter

I listen to this album almost every day. 85 feet, Mama, Lazybones, Pink and Baby Blue - all in the top songs of all time. Listen to the whole album many times over, but come back to your favorites.

I was blown away by the steel guitar on this CD. Ward Williams is the man! I look foward to more tracks from this up and coming band.
