So happy to have some new music from Ernest. He’s a talented artist and I could listen to this album over and over and not get tired of it. This album is fresh and my kind of country. I love the collaboration with Lukas Nelson. This is my summer sound by the pool, beach or any time!

Country is pretty copy paste so it’s pretty hard to shine on your own without sounding cliche for the radio. But this album does just that: it’s reminiscent of the Dan Fogelberg/Mac Davis/Kenny Rogers mystique that keeps an album’s fire burning long after the popular artists have come and gone. It’s modern with a nostalgic flair, the vocals are kind and resounding; the words leap out. It’s a great piece of work that will probably go unnoticed because people prefer radio friendly diddles over future classics. Great job.
