This is a good EP, just thought it would be a combo of Aerosmith with Yungblood.

Sorry, but Aerosmith does not need anybody else. They’re legends ,I have no idea who this idiot is.
Yungblud x Aerosmith is Very Cool

I love the collaboration and, more-so, I adore the friendship of these rockers w/ Dom/Yungblud, even though I love some tracks more than others. It’s authentically them, and I love the energy of it. Favorite track is My Only Angel followed closely by Problems (which has grown on me, to be fair). I also like Wild Woman, but not as much as the other two. I confess I’m more of a fan of Yungblud (love that guy so much and all he’s about) than I ever was of Aerosmith, although some of their music has been woven into the fabric of my life’s soundtrack DNA since the 80s. I wish the other tracks weren’t as Country-ish/twangy, because that’s not a style I’m into, but I know other people will love them. Also, check out the alternate “Desert Road” version of My Only Angel w/ Steve Martin (comedic actor/premier banjo player) included on banjo. I’m not a banjo fan, but it’s pretty cool.
I am so happy that you guys have found your new place in your life’s

Using 4/5ths of Aerosmith as a Radio-Friendly Launching Pad for YUNGBLUD

By VinylDude96
This EP contains 4 new tracks and an unnecessarily reworked version of a 1976 classic by Aerosmith & YUNGBLUD. Firstly, I do commend YUNGBLUD and Steven Tyler for their impressive vocal performances. Much praise to them in that regard. However, what hinders this EP are the songs themselves. The songwriting feels like they were composed in the frame of pop music. Like radio-friendly, digestible tunes that play it safe. Each track leaves a lot to be desired, in that they aren't explored to their fullest potential. You aren't going to find the familiar gritty, blues-inspired hard rock riffs from Joe Perry or Brad Whitford for that matter. On top of that, while Brad Whitford & Tom Hamilton are featured in the recording process, they are left in the shadows likesession musicians, making Steven & Joe the representatives of the band. Matt Sorum does a great job contributing his part, but it doesn't sound nor feel like Aerosmith in all its glory without Joey Kramer at the helm. This is unfortunately an underwhelming release, trying to capitalize on what's left of Aerosmith to give YUNGBLUD the stamp of approval. The new material suits YUNGBLUD best on his own. YUNGBLUD has more potential to continue establshing himself without the help of others and Aerosmith lost their edge after 1976's Rocks and've been ballad-driven since 1987's Permanent Vacation.

Impressive! Miss Aerosmith . Xoxo . Sounds like old school 90s music. Sounds great- the Tyler appears and it sounds even better.
Better than expected

When I first saw this, I did not expect YungBlud’s style of music to match well with the harder rock of Aerosmith. It actually fits in well and sounds pretty good. You can tell Steven Tyler‘s voice is pretty much shot and for most of the album he spends in background vocals or light duets. You can tell by the sound of the music, that it is truly Aerosmith, but it is difficult to get used to YungBlud singing for them. While this is a pretty decent album, I am not sure where this collaboration is going? Is it a beginning of something new or a one off?
We all needed this
