Wow! I love how quickly Doja can change her music style from one album to the next. She always keeps me guessing but doesn’t disappoint. This album is full of fun, upbeat music that you can dance to or cry to. It’s an emotional album carrying you through different stages of a relationship and it really makes me feel that ever-longing feeling you feel when you are head over heels for somebody.

I’ve been reading some of these negative reviews about Doja’s new lp and all I can say is that you guys don’t understand what the word “Reinvention” means. Look it up in Webster’s dictionary.
This “Vie” album is by far IMO, the best body of musical work DC has ever done thus far. My favorite music era is the 80’s and she completely nailed it! I love all 15 tracks, but my most favorite song from this album is “Make It Up”. It’s so sexy and smooth. Most of the negative comments are coming from straight up weirdo’s, who actually think that the music artist has to have a personal connection with them in order for them to be a good, great or highly successful artist within the music industry. I could care less if Doja Cat never knew I ever even existed. It’s all about listening to and enjoying good music.
This album “Vie” by Doja Cat gets a solid 10 out of 10 from me.

This is one of my favorite albums this year. Doja really did an amazing job with this one, and I feel like she really embodies the era of music that inspired the album. I literally love every track!! Right now I’m really feeling gorgeous, happy, one more time, take me dancing, acts of service, 🤗🤗

As I still listen through the album and learn it I find more and more fun wit of Doja and her personality spiraled through her 80s inspired and creative instrumentals. Her lyrics always tell a valuable story and her voice style is consistently an entertainment. Highly recommend

For a 29 yr old rapper/ pop artist, I can unequivocally say Doja did her homework. She nailed the sound and aesthetic of the 80s without compromising her own style, it’s just executed brilliantly. She’s giving Prince, Janet, Rick James , vanity 6 , Mary Jane girls..you name it. This should have charted higher, she threw it back and we need to throw around hands up because its real pop , popping. P.s. the last track with the Pino Donaggio sample from “Body Double” .. come on!!! It slaps.
