THIS IS FOR is such a great album. Every track is so good and it never disappoints. You can really hear how much they’ve grown, and it makes the whole thing even more enjoyable. TWICE knows how to make great music, and this album proves it once again that they’re the absolute best!

A whole masterpiece

I feel sorry for them just listening to this. The lyrics are SO BAD. HOT GARBAGE

Songs are decent, I just can’t stand songs that go back and forth between Korean and English lyrics. For albums I’d love it if they just made pure Korean or English lyric versions. I’m not sure why the songs are so broken between the two languages. English listeners aren’t gonna know the song especially. Otherwise It’s a good album Twice does have allot of potential. 😎

First, I just want to say that this album overall is really good, I especially love the unit songs. Second, I think TWICE’s music in the past couple years has been pretty good overall, especially as their sound has matured while still being TWICE. Third, the “quantity over quality” is not a JYP thing but a K-pop thing overall. K-pop in general would benefit if groups released at least once a year and it was a full album but we know it’ll never happen because too many groups debut and you can’t go too long without a new release because people will forget you, which is crazy because other music markets don’t do this. So, this not a JYP or TWICE issue but a K-pop one.

Only six months after their last EP (which only had a few good songs on it), TWICE is out with a full length album (their first one in about four years). While I understand that JYP is running a business and wants to make $, the quality of songs that TWICE has put out in the past couple of years has really dipped (and don't even get me started on the new ITZY release- which is just awful!!!!). THe title track THIS IS FOR harkens back to a Destiny's Child song- so I guess making another girls' anthem almost guarantees a hit. Right now, only MARS and HEARTBREAK AVENUE sound like songs that I will want to hear again (and again). The girls are always give 100 percent but I really hope that after this tour they take some time off and JYP waits until they have at least 6 or 7 GREAT songs before they release another EP.
