Don’t really known what they were going for with this one…
It’s not their sound.
It’s not an experimental sound like they’ve done with Jekyll and Hyde.
It’s just… not.
What happened?

I’ve been a big fan of all their old albums but this one sounds like a complete 180 from what they normally put out. The songs just sound off to the ear, but maybe it’s because I got used to their original sound. Oh well I suppose…maybe next time. Sorry guys; it’s a hard pass for me. :(

Purchased after I saw sphere concert ~ it’s an evolutionary album that starts in one place and ends somewhere else. Might be difficult to understand if you haven’t seen the concert but I really like the music ~ all different sounds and some fun tracks. The song w snoop was a little odd but he collabs with all kinds so I kinda dig his range. Thank you for loving her is beautiful.
Love this album!

It’s a shame so many rated the album based on just one song (Let it Run). I’m not a fan of that first one but I love this album! It’s less country and more rock than most ZBB albums, IMO. I’m not a country girl so that suits me just fine. My favorite songs include Butterfly (soaring!), Passenger (beautiful!), Nothing’s a Coincidence (very Foo Fighters), Give It Away (fun!) and yes, Animal (love the rock sound). I could keep adding to the list with Hard Run (amazing solo by Marcus King), I Ain’t Worried About It (laid back) and The Sum (another beautiful song with a great message), etc. etc. Please don’t write this album off because you’re expecting only a country vibe—ZBB refuses to be defined by any one genre. They can do it all. Give this album a few listens. You will be pleasantly surprised!

“Let It Run” and “Animal” ruin the vibe of the album. If those two weren’t on it I would give 4 stars.
Haha - lame.

Dude, if you're sharing a blunt, you're sharing spit. You think there's no saliva on that cigar paper? Rolling blunts is 1998, get over it.
What’s everybody hating about this album?

This is fantastic!!!! I guess all the haters only listened to one song and made their awful reviews based on that particular song. Shallow and Sad! Try again folks! Listen to it all the way through! It’s great!!! ZBB NEVER FAILS!!! Beautiful album!!!
