Another Dayseeker Masterpiece

An album with a bit of everything for everyone. Different theme and vibe, just like every Dayseeker album. Both newcomer and old-timer Dayseeker fan friendly. However, it's NOT friendly to metalcore gatekeepers (as Dayseeker was never really a band that made alternative metal, nu metal, deathcore, djent, or thall, like most of the metal community thinks they did).
Overall:
Heavy & Emotional, Crunchy & Synthwavy, and occassional Breakdown presence. No skips (For me personally), but some songs do outshine others.
For Those Looking For The Dayseeker Heavy:
Pale Moonlight, Creature In The Black Night, Shapeshift, Bloodlust, Nocturnal Remedy, Meet The Reaper
For Those Looking For The Dayseeker Emotion:
Crawl Back to My Coffin, Soulburn, Cemetary Blues, The Living Dead, Forgotten Ghost
Likely To Be Sleeper Hits:
Soulburn, The Living Dead, Meet the Reaper, Forgotten Ghost
Individual Notes:
Pale Moonlight - Crunchy Guitars, Breakdown
Creature In The Black Night - Slowburn, Synthwave, BLEGH!
Crawl Back To My Coffin - Soaring Chorus, Sadcore
Shapeshift - Soaring Chorus, Groovy, Catchy, Breakdown, Crunchy Guitars
Soulburn - Experimental, Chill, Classic Dayseeker Lyrics, Short, Prelude to Bloodlust
Bloodlust - Crunchy Guitars, Heavy, Breakdown, Slower Beat
Cemetery Blues - Experimental, Synthwavy, Crunchy Guitars, Slowburn, Experimental Breakdown (Still has Unclean Vocals), Outro Brings Everything Together
Nocturnal Remedy - Groovy, ANTHEMIC, Crunchy Guitars, Breakdown, Cut To The Living Dead
The Living Dead - THE SAD SONG, Piano and Muffled Drums, Brilliantly Deep Lyrics
Meet The Reaper - Electronic Leaning, THE PIANO LEAD, Soaring Chorus, Crunchy Guitars
Forgotten Ghost - Powerful, Atmospheric, Soaring Chorus, Instrumental Focused, THE PIANO LEAD
Great so far!

To be honest, I can’t believe how many people are very likely review bombing this album considering every single song that they have released so far has been a hit. I just saw these guys at Ford amphitheater and they’re honestly great performers and sound just like they do on the album.
I hope that the rest of the album, when it comes out, is just as good as what has been released so far. but even if it isn’t, these four songs that have been released are incredible and definitely deserve more respect than a 3.5 album review.
PALE MOONLIGHT is a go to for any Dayseekers casuals.
CREATURE IN THE BLACK NIGHT is a great 80’s synthwave slow jam that builds up into an energetic crescendo and could be easily paired up with CRYING WHILE YOU’RE DANCING from their Dark Sun Album.
SHAPESHIFT is a good mid energy song with the type of chorus that I’ve come to love from Dayseeker.
And BLOODLUST is evenly balance with heavy riffs and its softer, though still incredible, moments in between.
I have never written a review before or had to describe songs like this before, but I hope this helps past, present, and future fans of Dayseeker give the album and the band a chance. I know they have a bright future in the rock industry, they just need the support to prove it.
If you’re a fan of day seeker, I would highly recommend this album!
