"Tropicoqueta" es un álbum que parece haber sido creado por un comité de personas que no se ponen de acuerdo en nada. El 80% de las canciones parecen haber sido incluidas solo para llenar espacio, sin ninguna conexión temática o sonora con el resto del álbum. Los samples utilizados son como parches mal cosidos, intentando darle un toque de interés a canciones que de otro modo serían completamente insípidas. Pero lo más ridículo es que la canción titular, "Tropicoqueta", , se basa en un meme que no tiene absolutamente nada que ver con el concepto del álbum. Es como si Karol G hubiera visto un tweet gracioso y decidió que eso era lo que necesitaba su música. El resultado es una canción que se siente como un intento desesperado por ser relevante en internet, en lugar de una obra artística coherente. Es un álbum que parece haber sido creado para ser compartido en memes y no para ser escuchado.

It’s a no I couldn’t even listen to a song fully. It was a skip after skip after skip. She tried to copy bad bunny’s album so bad. It’s like “let me copy your homework but let me change it a lil bit”. The random story telling track just like bad bunny’s is what sent me.

This album is a reflection of who she embodies as an artist! Each of the songs tells a story of what inspires her as a Latina artist! I Love the new and old school music she has brought to this generation. This album is so special , sexy, flirty and more! She brought some legends of our time! Muy mal el álbum. No creativity nothing original just straight copied from everyone. Wasn’t this suppose to be an album of her roots? This is her worst album yet. Also no songs she does with Feid would ever be as great as her songs with Anuel. She had no passion doing this album.
