Everything a Chevelle Fan Can Ask For

I’ve been a fan of Chevelle and Rock/Hard Rock/Metal music for my entire life. Since 2013 they’ve released some good albums but ‘Bright as Blasphemy’ is undoubtedly great.
This is BY FAR their best and most compete album since Vena Sera (2008) and honestly, their last two albums just feel like a return to form. A couple reviews on here are based off previews and quick judgements (which is just crazy) and this album is definitely worth listening in full.
The boys have hit a stride lyrically, thematically and sonically. Producing this album themselves, you can absolutely feel and hear how much fun they had making it. I cannot wait to hear them rip these songs live. 10/10 and highly recommend!
Long time fan

I’ve been following Chevelle since the Red came out. They’ve had quality songs every single album. Pale Horse is so good! Give it a few listens before deciding, but if you like Chevelle, you will like this album
Chevelle is the best band of all time

Chevelle became “my band” since I first saw them in 2003 at Ozzfest. While I’ll always maintain their best was the “Wonder What’s Next and This Type of Thinking era” (‘02-‘05), they’ve continued to innovate, while staying true to their very unique brand. And for those that claim they are a Tool ripoff, I’d say you just haven’t listened to them enough. Chevelle is unique and there’s no band remotely close to them. I’m biased as you’d struggle to find a bigger fan of theirs than me. Highly suggest to see them live (indoor venue if at all possible, as their sound truly comes through indoors). I’ve seen them countless times since their big break getting on main stage at Ozzfest in ‘03. Just wish Joe (3rd brother, bass and backing vocals) hadn’t left. Still stuck in the past I guess.
Chevelle never disappoints

Highly recommend. Feels like they went back to early/mid 2000s style again.

just found ot today this had released...really not hearing many reasons to buy this. Maybe a song or two but the previews did not hook me at all and I love Chevelle. My excitement quickly faded after hitting preview all.
Middling. Aimless. Missing a point.

The absolute best part of this entire album is the last 41 seconds of Wolves. Other than that, this album is forgettable. Not terrible by any means, but nothing really standing out either. In my opinion, the second straight miss by Chevelle. They haven’t had a good album since North Corridor…..almost 10 years ago.
Another great album!!!!!
