This is a great song and it reminds me of my summer in 2024. Especially in the line “like when we were young and dumb and we knew everything”. Minus dumb because we were all extremely smart, it was the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment. I was 17 during that. I have been 18 since the August after that.

I’m starting to think that even though Avril did. Or want to battle with her old label, she should have stayed there. They kept her on her toes. Since being on the new label, her writing has gone down dramatically. Even her voice isn’t as well tuned as it used to be. Yes, artist freedom is nice but when you don’t have real people checking your music, is it even worth it?
