He is way better than Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, and Adison Raye combined! People are so blind when its comes to recognize artists with real talent; I mean, this guy can sing really well WITHOUT autotuner, unlike any of the above artists!! Don't be so quick to be hypocrites!! Also, I've never even heard of Pink Triangle by Weezer, so for the person who rated this song one star with this comment, chances are if I haven't heard it its probably not well-known enough to be an influence on this song!! Can we all just be kind to each other…some of the comments are talking about other singers…everyone has a talents somewhere and sometimes singing is not one of them. Benson Boone is an amazing singer but Sabrina Carpenter isn’t. That is just MY OPINION and y’all can have yours. Can’t wait for Young American Heart to be released, Benson Boone you are the best creative artist in music that if only your tours were close by for me and not far away but I know that your music will inspire fans that love you due to talent. Ignore the haters who are all for hate and jealous because they won’t get anywhere in life.
