For some reason, Lisa’s producers seem to think that r&b/hip hop is Lisa’s strong suit but it’s the pop that really helps her soar. Her collabs are iconic. New Woman and Born Again and are the standouts. If Lisa toned down her songs and gave them pop gem flairs, perhaps enlisting Swedish influence, she could fly on her own accord. But great album.
