This ain't trance, this electronica on the electro techno tip. I fell in love with Alexkid's debut Mint when it hit, glad to have him back again.

Caracol, Alexkid's latest release is no more and no less than it's name -- a sophisticated left or right turn. The opening track, Riverflow, uses an interesting synthesizer/voice effect that has you straining to make out the words will still enjoying the overall flow. Other tracks on the album provide honest trance goodness without burdensome overlayering so prevalent on more mainstream trance offerings. I believe the album is meant to be listened in one sitting -- the production values are high.
  • Good meat, but it could have been cooking a little longer.

Alexkid is definitely finding some untapped rythmical gyrations in this September 25 release of Caracol. It's a good hear, when you have brain freeze and the bucket of chicken crispers is running low. - Drosizzle
