For those saying it’s not country, you don’t get it. It’s not just country music, it’s music and that my friends is art. He’s been through a lot and he made something to reflect to heal to grow. He made what spoke to him and he made it his way. That’s what makes him the chief. And in case you missed it it earlier, I brought up it is art and as we all know art is subjective. And I can appreciate darkest hour right up there with Carolina and over. This church fan can dig it and so does my 87 year old gma. Country rock blues on Mr church cause we are here for it❤️

Eric’s bob Dylan moment. You’re just too stuck in the past to appreciate it. Amazing album. Still the chief.

This album is true musical art, and Eric Church doing things HIS way is great to see in a world full of copycats and puppets. All those “big Eric Church fan here” comments are obviously not as big a fan as they think they are because anyone who knows the Chief, knows he doesn’t do traditional country music. And he definitely doesn’t care about the negative reviews and low star count. The Chief makes HIS music HIS way and we either listen and enjoy the creativity or we don’t. Me personally, I absolutely love it! The way all the black and white are videos connect is brilliant as well. Thanks Chief, for not being a part of the machine and being as unique as you want to be.

The creative touches this album has plastered all over it is phenomenal. It’s original, it has tough gritty moments, awe inspiring moments, softer moments. Bleed on Paper is maybe the best country song I have ever heard, and reminds me of the late Johnny Cash’s “American V” album in some aspects. It’s gritty, emotional, and incredibly fun.
