  • Luke warm.

I saw this new artist and listened to the fist part of her song called “Holy”. At first the rhythm and beat of the song was nice, but then I caught the use of a curse word in it. It’s not what some would call a major curse word, but nonetheless it’s a curse word. Such language isn’t a pursuit of Holiness. Holiness pleases our Lord Jesus Christ. Which is why you should be pursuing Holiness. My next issue is with the artist herself. I’m not saying you should dress like the Amish, but this particular artist bare’s a lot of skin in some of the outfits she chooses to wears. This entices lustful gazes from men, and I know some of ya’ll will probably say that’s their fault. This is true, but I’m also a firm believer that these women will give an account before God for their enticing contributions toward the failure of men. I myself can’t ignore such factors when choosing what Christian artists to endorse. This artist may have some lyrics that sound biblically positive, but she’s trying to mix the world in with it at the same time. An action that the Bible clearly proclaims in the book of revelation as being “lukewarm”. The Bible clearly indicates such behavior as extremely dangerous. So I don’t recommend this artist to other Christian’s. She needs to decide whom she will serve. Either the world, or the true “Jesus Christ”. You can’t have both. A person can’t have two masters. Either he will love the one and hate the other, or love the other and hate the one.
