Writers block has stricken Mr. Wilson

I've been a huge fan of Porcupine Tree, Blackfield and Steven Wilson's solo work from his earliest days. Often I have referred to him as a musical genius in the realms of song writing, musical perfromance and record production. Alas, this album is one of only a few disappointing records he has produced. It seems Mr. Wilson has simply run out of musical ideas, resulting in a very tired, boring album lacking in almost anything of worth. If you are new to this artist, please redirect your attention to albums such as the Raven That Refused to Sing (a solo, project) or In Abstentia by Porcupine Tree -- indeed, to almost any other of his many superb albums.

Thank you Steven for giving us this wonderful Prog masterpiece! As with most Prog it takes a few listens to really let it sink in. I’ve given it the time and have been rewarded so highly. I love it! You’ve done it again, Steven. Another great release. For anyone who doesn’t know, Steven is the genius who created Porcupine Tree and is an in demand remix engineer remixing many many classic records from the past. Highly recommended to anyone that loves great music. Peace.
